old pueblo Bluegrass

The Old Pueblo Bluegrass Band are the new kids on the block. Not new in experience, but new as a band. Each member brings a lot to the table and the blend really works. These guys just fit together and the chemistry is right. Band leader, Reid Griffin, plays the guitar with a lot of drive and fancy  flat pickin’ breaks. Wes Breitenbach is phenomenal on the 5 string banjo and the mandolin and the guitar; but, his strong high harmony singing steals the show. It matches well with the strong lead singing done by Reid. These guys are Hot! But lets not forget the fiddle or fiddles. Dean Brunner and Bob Frankot are both excellent fiddlers and on occasions the band does some twin fiddling which is always a crowd pleaser. Dean also does vocals. Speaking of vocals, Barry Schaede kicks in with some harmony singing sometimes and all the time he giving the band a rock solid beat on the stand up bass- the foundation all bluegrass music is built upon. The band knows how to entertain - always interacting with the audience. They strive to hit the perfect combination of musical presentations that will keep the audience either clapping smiling, laughing or singing along. If you haven’t heard of this band before, you will! Soon. They’re Good!
