KLYLE STALL - Festival "MC"
Klyle was the designated MC for the 2011 Marana Bluegrass Festival. If you tried to attend in 2011, you are aware that a record breaking storm caused the Saturday performance to be canceled and although the Sunday performance was held, the weather was not nice
There was no Marana Bluegrass Festival in 2012; a result of Easter Sunday falling on the Festival weekend and there was no alternative weekend available.
Klyle originally hails from Chandler but spend many years in Hawaii and other places. He served in the US Army on active duty for 12 years and 17 years in the Army Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served two tours in Vietnam in the late 60’s and is a veteran of Desert Storm. In civilian life he worked as a civilian employee for the Army Reserves in Montana. He and his wife retired to Casa Grande in 2004 after spending 23 years in Montana. He is a member of both The Arizona Bluegrass Association and the Desert Bluegrass Association. He plays both guitar and mandolin and is leader of the Rusty Strings Band based in Casa Grande.
